Who we are
and what we're building.

About d5s.

d5s helps businesses introduce AI coworkers and hand them the work nobody has time for.

We take that idea to its limit. From day one this company has run on agents, inside d5s itself.

What matters to us.

Four things we actually argue about, written down so you can hold us to them.

Quality

We care how it reads and how it looks, down to the words on a page and the shape of a migration. When something is not right we fix it rather than file it. Taste is most of what a small team has to offer, so we spend it carefully.

Customer obsession

We would rather sit inside someone's actual workflow than read a requirements document about it. At our size every customer conversation reaches the people writing the code, usually the same week. When something breaks for you, that is what we are doing that day.

Inspire each other

Two people set each other's standard. We show each other the version we are slightly embarrassed by, early, because the alternative is polishing alone and calling it progress. Most of the good work here started as somebody else's half-finished idea.

Foresight

We build for where this is going, not only for where it is. Models, prices and providers will keep moving, so we would rather design for the change we can already see coming than optimise for the arrangement that happens to hold today.

We are proving that agents can run real parts of a company as coworkers.

Each one has a remit, a memory, scoped access, and a record of what it did. d5s is the runtime for that, and we are the first place we tested whether it holds.

Who's building it.

Two engineers who shipped agents into regulated production before starting d5s.

Led the agent team at Accuria, a London fintech. The agents his team put into production are used by tier-1 European banks: a conversational data analyst, an ETL agent with human approval at every stage, and a document pipeline that handled more than a million documents.

Michael Hogers
Co-founder

Built agent infrastructure at Checkly, a Gartner Cool Vendor in developer tooling, including agentic synthetic monitoring and autonomous agent loops. Before that he joined Accuria as founding engineer and technical lead. The platform he architected supported more than €2.5 billion in financial assets for American and European institutions.
