d5s vs Gumloop

Gumloop is a platform where your team builds AI agents. d5s gives your team AI coworkers instead: each has its own Slack account, joins your calls, remembers past work and asks before it acts, with workspace data in the EU.

Common questions when choosing between d5s and Gumloop

What is the main difference between d5s and Gumloop?

Both give teams shared AI agents. d5s gives each agent its own Slack account, asks before it acts, remembers across conversations and joins your calls. Gumloop starts agents from more triggers and, on Enterprise, takes text messages.

Where is my data stored?

d5s hosts workspace data in the EU. Gumloop's privacy policy says it transfers data to the United States. Gumloop offers a region choice only when you deploy it in your own cloud on Enterprise.

Do agents remember earlier conversations?

In d5s, agents keep versioned memory that people can inspect. In Gumloop, a new conversation starts empty. Agents can search past conversations or use a knowledge base.

How does pricing compare?

d5s Pro is $25 a month and Team is $35 per seat a month. Gumloop Pro is $37 a month for 20,000 credits with unlimited seats. Gumloop adds an 8% orchestration fee, or 16% with your own model keys. Enterprise pricing is custom.

How do approvals compare?

In d5s each tool action is Allow, Ask or Deny, and a conversation starts in Ask. You approve in d5s or in the Slack thread. Gumloop also gates tools, but each connector starts on Always allow until you turn approval on.

When is Gumloop the better choice?

When agents must start from app events or webhooks, when you want a personal agent you can text on Enterprise, or when you need deep enterprise governance such as an MCP gateway and model allow-lists.
