Every agent.
Its own inbox.
Email it like a teammate. Send a request, CC it on a thread, or forward a file. It replies with the work attached.
Here’s the launch brief, with the open questions and their context.
How it works by email.
- 01
It gets an inbox
Each new agent gets its own email address. You can also connect a dedicated Gmail or Microsoft mailbox.
- 02
Choose who can write
Set who can email the agent, and who it can email, by address or domain.
- 03
Email, CC or forward
It reads the thread and the files, does the work, and drafts the reply.
CC it on any thread.
Add Iris to a thread like a colleague. It replies in the same thread, from its own address.
Anna, Iris can share the rollout dates. Iris, please send Harbor the plan.
Files in. Work out.
Iris reads PDFs, Word, Excel, CSV and images, and sends back the files it makes.
You approve before it sends.
Until you save its rules, Iris asks before every email. You can allow a recipient once, or for good.
Done. 42 of 44 match. The two open items are in the first tab.
You stay in control.

Questions
Does it send emails on its own?
Not until you allow it. Iris asks before each email until you save its rules. After that it sends only to the recipients its outgoing rules allow, up to its daily limit.
Can it use a mailbox we already have?
Yes. Connect a dedicated Gmail or Microsoft mailbox to the agent instead of its d5s address.
Which files can it read?
TXT, Markdown, CSV, JSON, PDF, Word, Excel, PNG and JPEG. Archives and files with macros are skipped.
What happens to mail from unknown senders?
It does not reach the agent unless the incoming rules allow that sender. Blocked senders never get through.
