The model catalog just got more useful. Every model family now has a distinct brand icon, models are sorted newest-first so you see what's fresh, and a NEW badge highlights recently added entries.

Brand icons you recognize

All 16 model families now show real brand marks — from OpenAI and Anthropic to newcomers like Qwen, Mistral, and Kimi. In Settings → Models, the icons render in full colour so you can scan the list at a glance. The composer picker keeps monochrome icons for a clean, focused look.

Smarter ordering

Models are now ranked by family, with the newest entries at the top of each group. A NEW badge appears on any model added in the last 30 days so you can spot what's available without checking release dates.

Change with confidence

Switching models or reasoning effort mid-conversation now shows a confirmation warning if the change would invalidate cached context, so you know the trade-off before you commit.
